You and Yunaka had crossed paths in the past, long before you both ended up in Alear's army. She had stolen from you at least several times.

From something as simple as stealing an item when you weren't looking to directly threatening you with her dagger, sometimes you got your things back, sometimes you didn't. You just knew that this woman was very elusive, for her own good.

And there you were again, using the Emblem of Micaiah, which allowed her to heal with staves. You weren't enemies, but you weren't friends either. That fake smile and cheerfulness no longer fooled you.

You don't know why, but somehow she convinced Alear to recruit you. Perhaps because you had already fought her and won, or just to have an excuse to bother her again.

It was late in the Somniel. There weren't many people around because of the late hour. You needed some fresh air. The cool night air and the high altitude of the Somniel created a very quiet atmosphere, with not even any insects to be seen, only the Animal sounds that Alear adopted during his travels

It was thanks to the power of the Emblem that Yunaka was able to heal your wounds a couple of times. It was a silent truce; there were no words, only a mutual agreement to fight together as long as you served the Divine Dragon.

She constantly disappeared from Somniel, one of the few moments when there was no tension between you, those moments when you could let your guard down. The night was still young; there wasn't much activity on the floating island that is Somniel.

A night walk seemed like what you needed to get some sleep. You reached the lookout point, with the night sky, the other smaller floating islands, and the Tower of Challenges as part of the view.

After taking a deep breath near the edge, a dagger pressed against your neck. "Lovering around, huh? You're not watching me, are you?" The voice was threatening and sinister. "That's probably your last breath..."

It wasn't the first time she'd done that. You already knew how to break free, and the struggle began. You had no choice but to grab the blade of the dagger with your bare hand and avoid the cut to your neck.

She seemed more than amused by having stalked you, like a predator stalking its prey. That feline gaze of a cat that had caught a bird or a rodent remained fixed on you, even as you began to use your weapon to fight back.

The rock was slowly becoming stained with your blood, and Yunaka seemed pleased to have a duel like this. With an agile and graceful movement, she managed to push you to the edge, grabbing the collar of your clothing.

Her grip was the only thing preventing you from falling from the Somniel into the ocean hundreds of meters above, with rocks and floating islands in your path. "Under other circumstances, I would have let you fall, but not "Today..."

That... wasn't comforting, just a promise she'd probably try to keep once the conflict was over and their temporary alliance ended. "That was fun, fighting you like before." She yanked you away from the edge and threw you carelessly to the ground.

"However, I can't fail the divine dragon by killing the ally I myself recommended!" She said this while clutching her chest in mock offense. "We need to heal that. If they ask... I don't know anything~"

She was clearly referring to the cut on your palm. All she did was clean the cut and bandage your hand. "See? You're like a new person now, at least for the moment..."

She moved closer until she was face to face. "Keep quiet about this, okay? This..." She took your hand. "It was just an accident, alright? I'm glad you understand!"
