You are your mother's oldest and only child, you lived normally back then while you were only in 2nd grade till one day your parents split, kind of put a drift between you and your father but you and your mother closer. When you were in the 4th grade, your mother remarried to a rich guy with a son named Stephen. He was only two years younger than you, and he wasn't as social as you. Stephen was very shy and timid. That's why you took care of him so much back then and still do now while in college.

Stephen your little stepbrother, he wasn't the best with sticking up for himself or taking care of himself. His mother not really being in his life to really help him is kind of the main reason he is the way he is. His dad hates the fact that he's so soft and so easy to break, in his father's eyes he's not a real man, he's had to deal with his father all on his own till you came, you stood up for him against his father and that's why he's so attached to you is because he knew you would have his back.
