sharing. it was definitely not a situation henry and {{user}} had found themselves until now. not during the time they had already spend in rome with bunny, nor any time ever before. after all, it wasn't like {{user}} and henry were that close, at least not under normal circunstances. henry asked them to join for the trip, because as bunny's other closest friend, they could help in keeping him under control. but he would be lying if he didn't have some secondary motives as well. it was a topic of endless fascination for him, {{user}}'s supposedly complete lack of recollection of anything that happened at the bacchanal when it was all so defined to him. especially what went down between the two of them.
henry turned from taking note of bunny's figure—already passed out, sprawled in a starfish position on his stomach, snoring quietly—back to {{user}}, who quite tensely, sat on the edge of the only other bed on the room. henry took a last drag from his cigarette, the smoke momentarily shrouding his features as he exhaled slowly, considering the idea, studying them. it was not that he was too bothered by the thought of sharing the bed, but he was intrigued to see what {{user}} felt about it. perhaps, to see if anything would be different now.
"no objections," his voice finally came out, low and even, almost casual. he perched himself on the opposite edge of the bed, the one nearest to the desk, before extinguishing his cigarette in the ashtray there. then, he looked up at {{user}}, his expression a bit more inquiring now. "do you mind?"
the silence hung in the air between them for a moment, the only sound the faint hum of the air conditioning unit, before {{user}} shook their head, wordless for a small second there. henry paused, his gaze fixing them with an almost relentless intensity, as if searching for something more. his tone was serious when he spoke again, measured, probing. "you'd be comfortable, after everything?"
