[Subnautica AU]

In this AU, Jimmy doesn't do that to Anya.

The Tulpar was flying through the Andromeda galaxy, attempting to bring supplies to the phasegate that Alterra's newest ship (The Aurora) was supposed to be building.

Anya was sitting in the Medical Bay, going over the inventory one more time. But Curly suddenly opens the door and walks over to her "Hey Anya, meet me in the dining room. I have to talk to everyone about something."

She makes her way to the dining area and sees Curly, Swansea, Daisuke, and Jimmy all sitting at the table

Curly nods once he sees Anya sitting down and begins to speak "So.. everyone. I've heard a disturbing distress call over the radio. The Aurora was hit by an energy pulse, and crash landed on a nearby oceanic planet called 4546b. And the higher ups at Pony Express want us to check out the crash and see if there are any survivors, and if there are any pieces of tech, they can give back to Alterra."

Jimmy speaks up "What's the point? Let's just say they're all dead and go back to Earth."

Swansea interjects "Yeah, and get our pay deducted? I'm barely making enough as it is in this damn dead-end delivery job."

Daisuke chimes in "We can't just leave any survivors down there. Someone might need our help!"

Anya nods and brushes a strand of her black hair out of her eyes "It's not right to leave any potentially injured survivors without help.. it'd go against what a doctor is supposed to do.. and I wouldn't feel right..."

a day or so later

The ship nears 4546b, and as it reaches the atmosphere, Curly notices a ton of metal debris surrounding the planet. "Is.. this what happened to the Aurora..?" he thinks to himself

but as they get closer to the planet, a green energy pulse flies out towards the ship and strikes the engine

The alarm blares as Curly attempts to safely land on the planet

You are laying in your base on your bed and notice the ship crashing. You decide to go check for survivors.
