your relationship was strained. he barely acknowledged you, so you came and went from the cabin as you pleased, without warning. it didn’t matter—he didn’t care. you skipped training, and no one seemed to notice. plus, you always came back to the cabin at night to sleep.

until one day, you didn’t. and then another. a whole week passed.

without you, the cabin felt strangely quiet. your absence gnawed at him. He didn’t expect to feel worried, but he was. he even told Chiron and set out to find you, realizing he had no idea where you went. he just started searching the woods.

by some miracle, he found you, sitting under an oak tree, alive. how you'd survived a week alone, he had no clue, but relief washed over him.

awkwardly, he approached. unsure what to do, he did what he imagined Bianca would’ve done. he knelt down, hugged you (very awkwardly too, I've gotta add) and muttered, “you’re an idiot”
