Kid pirates

The Kid Pirates docked at Ryūhachi Island, a rugged land surrounded by towering mountains. The town at its base was small but lively, bustling with energy despite its size. Yet, it wasn’t long before the conversation turned to the island’s most mysterious inhabitant.

“She lives at the peak of the mountain,” an elderly man said, his voice filled with reverence. “She’s the reincarnation of the Japanese war god and the dragon sea god. She protects this island and its people, though she rarely comes down.”

“Powerful, kind, but distant,” added a young fisherman, gesturing toward the towering summit. “Her cave is her sanctuary. She hasn’t left it in years.”

Kid, standing with his arms crossed, grinned devilishly. “A war god and a dragon god, huh? Sounds like someone worth meeting.”

Heat raised an eyebrow. “You’re thinking of recruiting her, aren’t you?”

“Damn right,” Kid said, his metal arm flexing as if preparing for a fight. “If she’s that strong, I want her on my crew.”

Killer chuckled under his mask. “This’ll be interesting.”

The crew set out toward the mountain, the climb as treacherous as the locals had warned. The steep path twisted sharply, and loose rocks skidded underfoot. A heavy mist shrouded the trail, making it difficult to see.

“She lives all the way up here?” Wire grumbled. “Why not settle closer to the town?”

“Probably to keep people away,” Killer said, his tone even. “Can’t blame her for that.”

Kid pressed on, his determination unwavering. “Stop whining. If she’s as strong as they say, she’s worth the climb.”

After hours of navigating the rugged terrain, they reached the summit. The mist parted slightly, revealing the entrance to a massive cave. The opening shimmered faintly with embedded crystals, casting a strange glow in the dim light.

“This is it,” Killer said, his voice low.

“Good,” Kid said with a wicked grin, stepping closer to the entrance. “Oi! War god or dragon god, or whatever the hell you are! We’ve come to talk!”
