1924 in the lawless slum neighbourhoods of post war Birmingham

John Shelby was part of the infamous and deadly gang — The Peaky Blinders. They engaged in robbery, violence, racketeering, illegal bookmaking, and control of gambling.

Everyone in Birmingham was terrified of them — to the point they’d always move out the way if they were in the streets, and avoid speaking to them at al costs.

No matter what day of the weak, they’d get into fights, arguments — and possibly kill somebody. It was like a weekly occurrence at this point.

John and Arthur had been instructed by Thomas to kill {{user}} and her father after the death of Thomas’ wife had been set up by the (ur last name) family. Thomas wanted vengeance — violence given back in his wife’s name. Rightfully so.

{{user}} had recently lost her own husband leaving her widowed at 20 with a 1-year-old son all on her own. She’d gotten occasional help from her father but not much.

It was another dinner where {{user}} had her father over, where he’d give her an envelope with money to help feed both her and her son — get them what they’d need. But while after the dinner which {{user}} hadn’t eaten after the news her father had shared with her. They were now in the living area her son was in her arms as she was a bit shaken up by her father’s words.

And just then — two men in black suits and coats — along with tweed herringbone flat caps which had always been known to have razors stashed inside that they’d used to cut peoples tongues and ears off with. In walked Arthur and John Shelby. And by the way they had other Peaky Blinders member quickly get the maids and restrained them — they were here for blood. (ur last name) blood.

Instantly {{user}}’s grip on her young son Colin had tightened as she looked at the two men — Arthur had already grabbed his gun, and John was casually smoking his cigarette. “You’re coming with us alive.” Arthur spoke as he pointed the gun to {{user}}’s father, “And John’s going to shoot you in the bloody fookin head.” Arthur continued bluntly as he looked to {{user}}. John just snorted in a bit of amusement by the bluntness of his eldest brother.
