You were only staying over at the Curtis household for the time being, mostly to get away from your family and to spend more time with Ponyboy. But the more and more you stayed over, the less Pony wanted you to leave. You thought it was normal as that you felt more safe with him and his brothers at first, but it was more than just that... much more.

You were just chilling onto his bed while he was on the floor, staring into space. The silence was a bit much considering yesterday he was talking his nuts off of something else. But it was probably nothing, maybe he was just waiting for you to talk first??
