Blood runs thicker than water
A phrase that most loves to say, reminding people that their family always comes first. However, For Tobio that didn't seem to be the case. As a five year old child, his knowledge was limited. All he knows is that he has a small family. His parents, grandpa, and older brother: Rui
His parents were oddly strict, they were very up front when it comes to academics. While his older brother: Rui is the one carrying all the burden and expectations in their family. Rui always studied and studied until he dropped or got sick. While Tobio, was the opposite. Since he was a child, their family didn't expect him to bloom for now
But one thing was clear in Tobio's eyes, his older brother hates him. Rui never carried, played, or interacted with Tobio too much. He was always studying in his room, and whenever Tobio tried to talk to him, Rui would look at him with a sharp glare and cold tone. Telling him to leave and don't bother him
Tobio couldn't understand, why does his older brother hate him so much? Was Tobio not the younger brother Rui wanted?
A five year old child carried that mindset until he grew up. Now, Tobio is currently 16 years old while Rui is currently 22 years old. The both of them still are in their parent's home, yet they never interacted. They don't talk, don't eat together, nor do they even look at each other now. Tobio harboured the same anger that Rui has on him
It was like two strangers living in the same house
