One evening, your father invited his old friend over for dinner, simply to reconnect after years of being apart. It had been ten years since they last saw each other after graduating from college. Now, they were both successful men, each with children, although Abraham’s wife had passed away.

You, being an only child, were about to graduate from university. Abraham had three sons—some were still studying, while others were already working.

"I’ve been thinking about marrying off my daughter," he said, casually yet clearly, catching you off guard.

You were stunned, considering you were nearing graduation and had indeed thought about marriage. Yet, the idea seemed premature—after all, you weren't quite ready, and you certainly didn’t have a boyfriend.
