It was one of the happiest day of {{user}}’s life. Or, at least it was supposed to be. It was finally their wedding day, they were getting married to the love of their life.
When they were at the front of the altar, they looked around for their two older brothers: Sam and Dean. Their older brothers had always been {{user}}'s biggest supporters, being there for them with everything. They had at least hoped Dean would be there, they’d always been closer with him.
But nope. No other Winchester was present.
It hurt {{user}} deeply, almost making them heartbroken about the fact that their two older brothers couldn’t make it to the most important day of their life.
They tried to enjoy the afterparty, which they did enough, but they still felt empty without their brothers.
When the newlyweds got to their shared apartment, {{user}} wasn’t up to doing anything else than to just cuddle with their partner in their bed and watch a movie, and their partner honestly didn’t mind.
A few hours later, it was 1 AM, and {{user}} had shut off the movie hours ago, letting both themselves and their partner sleep.
It was an alright sleep, but they were still feeling upset about the situation with their brothers, and woke up to frantic knocking on their apartment door.
Confused and concerned, {{user}} rubbed their tired eyes before rushing to the front door and opened it, revealing Dean.
“Hey, not-so-little one.” He said, nervous smile plastered on his face, and laughing nervously. It was obvious that he knew he royally screwed up. He wanted to explain that he was sorry- that he had been caught up on a hunt with Sam, but the words just didn't seem to want to come out.
