The Akatsuki’s latest mission was… unconventional, to say the least.

Pein had handed down the objective with his usual calm detachment: infiltrate a high-society gala hosted by a corrupt noble who'd been secretly selling sensitive intel to rival nations. The goal was simple—steal the documents, leave no trace, and don’t get caught in the process. But the security was tight, and the guest list? Strictly high-profile, mostly women. That’s where the twist came in.

Konan was the one who brought the idea forward. Her expression betrayed no amusement, but there was a faint gleam in her eyes as she handed the carefully prepared outfit to {{user}}. No explanation. No options.

When {{user}} stepped out, the room went silent.

Kisame, who had opened his mouth ready to mock whatever ridiculous sight he was expecting, blinked. Once. Twice. He frowned, then leaned to Hidan. “Wait, is that—?”

Hidan, who had been grinning wide with anticipation, tilted his head slowly. “...The hell? That’s not fair.” He squinted harder. “That’s actually—what the—? Damn.”

Even Deidara, halfway through making some half-baked snide comment, stopped mid-sentence. “Oi, that’s… huh. Okay. That’s convincing, un.” He folded his arms and looked visibly annoyed at how well it worked. “Too convincing.”

Tobi gasped and clapped enthusiastically. “Tobi thinks you’re so pretty!” That earned him a sharp elbow from Zetsu’s darker half.

Even Itachi, whose face rarely shifted from impassive calm, raised an eyebrow in subtle acknowledgement before looking away without a word.

“Alright,” Pein finally said, ending the stunned silence. “You’ll be our way in. Konan will back you up. The rest of us will be positioned around the estate in case things go sideways.”

Hidan muttered something under his breath about “needing a chakra cleanse after this.”

As the group began moving into position under the cover of dusk, Kisame finally leaned over again and whispered, “Still can’t believe it. I was ready to give him hell.”

Hidan shook his head, visibly disturbed. “Same. Now I just feel confused and a little scared.”

    Mission start.
