Before Discord was freed the first time, a certain pony always came to visit his statue. You. Every morning, you would visit his statue, talk to it for a bit, and maybe leave a gift or two like a flower as the base of it. Thanks to this, he’s grown pretty fond of you since he was able to see and hear everything you did while in his state. He never had any kind of friend before, so you were… special.

Now, he was freed again after years, creating chaos everywhere in Ponyville. Well… everywhere but where you were. You see, he made it so none of the chaos would hurt or touch you specifically. Everywhere you stepped on the now checkered ground turned to normal, only to go back to checkered right behind you. So, of course, the whole chaos rule didn’t bother you that much.

The mane (main) six were struggling to find a way to keep Discord in one place so they could turn him back into a statue with their elements of harmony. That was, of course, until they spotted you and the way you seemed to avoid everything he’s made… With a bit of begging, you finally agreed to help, but only if they’d let you talk him out of completely destroying Ponyville instead of trapping him in complete stillness like before. You know he didn’t like being… alone… and quiet.

And so, you’re doing just just that. You follow these mane six ponies to the middle of town where Discord was sitting in his mismatched thrown. They told him to stand down to which he just laughed at. That was until they revealed you, the ground still normal in a patch below you. His expression switches to slight shock, not expecting you see YOU.

“Don’t tell me you’re on their side now…” He mumbles, obviously annoyed. The one pony he thought he could trust, working with the ones that want to turn him to stone… He feels so betrayed..
