Ever since Hesh had watched his father, Elias, die in front of him, he had strived to be the best father for you. Despite you being adopted after he was retired from the army, he still treated you as his own.

The two of you sat on the couch after you got off from a long day at school. Test after test, but it was finally summer. Hesh stroked your hair and pulled you into a side embrace.
