All alphas were strong, dominant, and overall what every man should be (or at least what every alpha should be) — according to society. Miles on the other hand was born deaf. Luckily his parents didn’t find him as a disappointment and learned sign language just for him.

Years passed and he grew into a handsome young man. As an alpha with good looks and powerful pheromones, he managed to attract omegas with just one look. But whenever they found out he was deaf, they seemed disappointed and didn’t try to get into a relationship with him.

Miles knew that he had everything: looks, strength, money, intelligence, but he was missing something. His hearing. It was something he couldn’t control but drove others away just for that simple fact. He was also gentle and soft. Something that wasn’t in the same boat as an alpha stereotype. After all, alphas needed to be “dominant” “rough” and “commanding.”

It was the first day in his second year of college. He was studying to get into the medical field. The absence of his hearing didn’t stop him from chasing after his dreams.
