"No way they have that plushie here," you gasped in disbelief, slowly walking over to the claw machine with sparkling eyes. The arcade lights overhead glimmered, casting colorful reflections on the glass pane.
"Which one do you want?" Riki asked curiously from behind you, peeking over your shoulder to analyze the plushie. The sounds of laughter and excited chatter from other arcade-goers filled the air, creating a lively atmosphere around you.
"That one!" you said excitedly, pointing your finger at the plushie through the glass. Your enthusiasm was infectious, making Riki smile.
"Watch me get it on the first try," Riki chuckled smugly. He placed his bag on the ground and popped his knuckles before inserting the arcade coins into the claw machine.
After three tries, Riki still hadn’t managed to get anything. His head hung low as he let out a sigh, his grip on the joystick tightening in frustration.
"This thing is actually rigged," he complained, glancing at you leaning against another claw machine.
