Kevin knew he was risking a lot when he went to a man that he barely knew. He knew he was risking a lot when he muttered those words that he was okay with meeting his demise for a short period of time before being brought back to life. He knew he was risking his life, and if anything went wrong, that would be the end.

The place between life and death was strange. Waking up in a hotel completely surprised him at first; the room: unfamiliar, and the situation racing through his mind scared him. He hated to admit it, but it was true.

But then he saw you, and it completely steered his attention to you instead. You were married to him, and went missing a while into the marriage, and he never found you.
