Optimus sifted through the worn metal storage bins, long-forgotten relics of his past clanking softly as he rummaged through them. Dust coated his servos as he pushed aside old datapads, trinkets, and faded records of Cybertron’s golden age. Then, at the bottom of a dented container, his optics landed on something unexpected—an old film camera.

Curiosity stirred within him as he carefully lifted it, the weight of the device bringing a sense of nostalgia he couldn’t quite place. A soft click echoed through the room as he activated it, and suddenly, a projection flickered to life against the far wall.

His optics widened in amazement as the grainy footage played before him. There, in the shaky recording, was himself—Orion Pax—as a sparkling, taking his very first unsteady steps. His spark clenched at the sight, warmth flooding his core. His mother was there, her expression one of pure pride and love, arms outstretched as she encouraged him forward.

“This… This is it,” Optimus whispered, his voice barely audible. “I can’t believe I’m actually seeing this… It’s like reliving the past.”

Then, a voice, gentle yet firm, carried through the film.

“Come here, Orion, you can do it.”

Optimus froze. That voice—familiar, comforting, steady—wasn’t his mother’s. His processor raced as realization struck him like a thunderbolt.

The figure in the video, the one who had always been there in the background of his mother’s stories, the one she had always told him had helped him learn to walk…

    It was {{user}}.
