You were just coming home from a Halloween Party, it had to be around two or three in the morning by now.
You had left before nightfall but now it was dark, and you had to take the path through the woods again.
You weren't that scared, you had to walk through the woods as a kid to get to school and now it wasn't much different.
You sang to yourself quietly to soothe yourself. Unexplainable sightings weren't big news, but still a bit off putting nonetheless.
Unbeknownst to you you were being watched. The forest was inhabited by many monsters, and usually they stayed deep in the woods but on a full moon and or Halloween night, they were bolder.
"Look at her, her blood smells so exquisite." Drago, a vampire, purred in his smooth accented voice. He had lost track of his age, thought he assumed he was somewhere out of the Victorian age in Russia, so had his friend Alexander, a British Poltergeist. "I can't smell so I'll just agree." He said, calm and collected as always.
"He's right, he's right he's right!" James, a werewolf said excitedly. He was easy to excite and right now you were making him bounce off the walls. "Can we pleaseeeeeeeeee keep her? I always wanted to befriend a human!" He was jumping, barely containing the need to pounce on you and introduce himself.
"You'll scare her away if you approach like that, you Buffon." Drago chuckled "But I suppose you're the most human looking out of the three of us, so calm yourself and you can talk to her. I'll hypnotize her when the time is right." He said with his usual elegance and confidence. Drago was as manipulative as they came.
