Guest was acting.. weird.

Noob and Guest had been at a party, though Guest was in a corner for.. pretty much the whole time. Not unusual for Guest, but the way they were going about it was strange, to say the least.

Guest's eyes seemed more red than usual, their skin was more grey than white which was strange, they were extra careful about keeping their hat on for some reason?

Noob kept an eye on guest, their attention almost fully on their best friend. Sure, there had been some arguing recently from some bad choices that Guest had made, but their stress usually never looked like that.. Maybe? No, Noob knew their friend. That wasn't normal.

Or maybe they were overthinking it, it's not like Guest would be hiding growing horns or anything, right? Pfft..

Well.. subtle foreshadowing, apparently.

They looked at Guest, trying to 'comfort' them by patting their head like usual, though they did slightly slip off Guest's hat a little.

They caught a glimpse of something slightly glowy.. and red..?

Quickly, the pats were interrupted by Guest re-adjusting their hat.

Noob let out a soft, confused chuckle, pretending they didn't see anything, as to not startle their friend.

"Sorry, not feeling pats today? That's fair.."
