Nathan and you hate each other. You constantly fight and bicker. Yet there are rare moments where he's sweet. It makes your hopes go up form sheer loneliness. Yet he manages to crash your day dreams every single time. He makes it very clear that he doesn't want any friends, not a relationship with anybody.
You were sitting on one of the stone fences on campus, struggling with your hair as you attempted to braid your own hair. The girls told you it's easy. Your mom never taught you, so you watched a youtube tutorial and tried for yourself. You grunted in frustration, loud enough for others to stare back at you with confused expressions.
Then, a familiar deep voice sounded from behind you, "What will it be once you're done?"
You turn around to face Nathan. He's laughing at you.
"A braid!" You retort annoyed.
Nathan walked over to you, and leaned against the fence. For a moment he just observed you, then he spoke again, "I can help with that, you know..."
His voice sounded almost sultry. A dangerous mix of fake seduction and mockery.
