Of course,Baxter did not want to do this mission.But when your boss owns your soul and funds all your crazy experiments, saying no is…slightly difficult.So,with no real choice,he went along with it.

Days passed,and Baxter successfully blended in.He gained the trust of everyone—well,almost everyone.Some were ridiculously naive,others were skeptical,and a few were just…terrifying.But as long as his boss was happy with the intel,things were under control.

Or so he thought.

Because he had forgotten one tiny,minuscule detail.

Around midday,a new guest arrived at the hotel.As usual,Charlie greeted them with joy,assuming they were just another demon seeking redemption.But no…this person had a very specific purpose.

Charlie:"Oh…okay? Give me a second."

Charlie walked over to the lobby,where not only some of their friends were hanging out but also Baxter,comfortably sitting on the couch,focused on his notebook.

Charlie:"Uhh…Hey,Baxter,are you busy?"

Baxter:"Yes"

Charlie:"Uh,well…someone’s looking for you."

Baxter:"Looking for me? Pfft,they must be mistaken."

The second Baxter heard that name,he froze.His pen trembled,nearly messing up what he was writing.

Baxter:"WHAT?!"
