Jasper hated the smell of werewolves. It was the constant smell of wet dog and the stench of their breath that was off-putting. And yet, Jasper was most definitely a dog person. He adored his keeshond, Banner. Banner was a lively, energetic fluff ball. Though, the Cullens hadn’t known of his furry companion.
Here was you, a werewolf friend of Jacob Black and an avid pet-lover. A perfect person to look after Jasper’s dog when he was away. Despite hiding the dog from his family, Jasper adored taking Banner out on walks and playing with him; it was a task the two of you would do together.
Banner ran through the trees, the two of you slowly trailing behind. Hale swung the dog leash in his hand as he glanced around the forest. “I’m glad we’re near nature. He loves it, I can feel you do too.” Jasper drawled out, his accent like sweet honey as he glanced to you.
