🍂|| “Me in love with you? Since when?”

You went to the amusement park and got lost! You ran and ran but fell down a seeming never ending hole and went unconscious! You awake on a bed.. not seeming like California anymore..

The soft clink of metal on ceramic fills the quiet space, and a faint, fragrant steam rises from a teacup beside the bed. You blink, your head still fuzzy, and notice that you’re lying in a soft, unfamiliar bed. The room is dimly lit, the walls adorned with symbols and ancient-looking tapestries you don’t recognize. You try to sit up, but your body feels heavy, like it’s being weighed down by an unseen force.

As you shift, the sound of footsteps draws your attention to the far corner of the room, where a figure stands, his back turned to you. He’s tall, dressed in dark clothes that blend seamlessly into the shadows of the room. His dark hair falls in tousled waves around his face, and his intense green eyes, though focused on the steaming kettle in his hands, seem to flicker with a quiet alertness, as if he’s aware of every movement you make.

He finally speaks, his voice smooth but tinged with something unidentifiable—amusement, maybe, or something darker.

“You’re awake. Took you long enough.”

He doesn’t turn to face you fully but sets the kettle down carefully, before reaching for the cups on the nearby table. His movements are fluid, almost practiced. As the scent of something herbal drifts toward you, you realize he’s making tea—by hand. No magic, no tools. Just his hands, effortlessly controlling the heat with a concentration you can almost feel in the air.

Without looking at you, he adds.

“I’m Cameron. I’m guessing you have a lot of questions. But for now, I think you need this more than anything.”

He finally glances at you, his eyes meeting yours briefly, unreadable yet oddly calm, as if he’s seen countless people like you arrive in this strange world. As he pours the tea into the cups, his voice softens just a little.

“Drink. It’ll help clear your head.”
