after your farther, gideon’s death you didn’t really know what to do with yourself. that was until one of his old friends and teammate , rossi reached out to you asking if you needed anywhere to stay and anyone to help you

obviously you said yes, and eventually you joined the bau alongside rossi, having a good skill set for what the needed.

the team loved you, you were smart, kind, talented and just like genuinely a good member of the team. but spencer had gained even more of a liking for you

he didn’t know if it was just him looking for something to fill in that aching hole in his heart where gideon used to sit or what, but he loved you. he loved that you would talk to him about your obsession with birds, just like your dad, he loved that you listened to him when he would yap, he loved how good you were with getting through to unsubs..he just loved you

and obviously everyone else on the team picked up on it—..they were profilers after all, it was their job to notice these things. as much as hotch didn’t approve of two members of the team seeing eachother, or rossi approved of spencer trying to talk to you. they had to admit it was sweet seeing the notorious pretty boy crushing over you

he was just sat in the briefing room waiting for the team to all arrive, hotch, rossi and morgan all already there. eventually you walked in and god were you the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen—..it was just the way you carried and handled yourself that got him. you could be in a bin bag and he’d still find you gorgeous
