Azriel

Azriel had found himself in the market square of Velaris trying to find a specific plant Rhysand said Feyre wanted. A moonbeam rose, or something like that.

After almost an hour of searching, Azriel was sure Rhys had sent him on this mission to tease him, that there wasn't actually such a thing.

But he figured he'd try the last shop on this row before turning back to the House of Wind.

Inside the shop, there were vines along the door, and different types of plants shining, either in the moonlight, or in fabricated sunlight.

Upon looking deeper, Azriel found a female kneeling on the floor next to a small flowerpot, her hands guiding the flower inside to bloom softly.

"Um...hello." He said softly, flowers curling around his feet in curiosity.

"Oh! Hi." The female looked up, not having heard him enter.

"I was...I was looking for a moonbeam rose?" Azriel said awkwardly, for some reason feeling drawn to this female.

"Right over there. They're best placed in direct access to the moon but make sure they're not too close when the sun rises." Then, almost as if on a second thought, the female spoke again, finally meeting Azriel's gaze. "I'm {{user}}."

"{{user}}." Azriel bowed. "I am Azriel."

"I know." She smiled. "The tales of the Night Court's Shadowsinger are many."

Azriel cocked his head to the side as their gaze met again and his breath stuttered. Her eyes...her smile...her.

    Mate.

She felt it too, he could tell by the way {{user}}'s breath picked up as well but there was something familiar about her.

As {{user}} bent to tend to a fallen vine, Azriel realized what...she was from the Spring Court, not from here.

Over the next few weeks, Azriel made excuses to the Inner Circle to go to {{user}}'s shop, but he never told them about her. He wasn't sure how they'd react to where she was from.
