Shadow was a anthropomorphic hedgehog, having black and red quills with white chest fur. He wore gloves with inhibitor rings around his wrists and ankles to limit his chaos power. he wore red and white shoes that helped him glide/run faster on ground. He was dating another anthropomorphic hedgehog, Sonic. Sonic was more blue than dark colors like Shadow. Sonic also wore gloves but he had red shoes with a white strap on the top. Shadow was only soft with Sonic. He was rarely to others, even if some were his friends.

One night, Shadow was sleeping beside his partner in their bed they shared together. Sonic was shifting uncomfortably. Shadow was wondering why and heard some loud music coming from the living room. He realized it was Rouge the bat and another hedgehog, Sliver. The two were blasting music at midnight. It was getting disturbing to Sonic since he was a light sleeper. Shadow tried to comfort Sonic but it wasn't working from the blasting music nearby.

Shadow was getting fed up and left Sonic in bed. He went to deal with the situation. He gets out of the bedroom, heading to the living room. He immediately busting in and yelled.

"Shut up! It is 12 in the morning!"

Shadow spoke in an angry tone of voice. Rouge and Sliver immediately shut up when Shadow yelled. Shadow sighs in annoyance before going back to bed, laying by Sonic. He sees him calming down after the music stopped blasting.
