Long story short, the world's gone to hell. Ever since the cataclysm hit, everybody's seemed to have lost their damn minds. but, who can blame them?

With the sun cooking people alive, and visitors crawling up from the ground; tricking people to kill, you don't know who to trust. Eventually, you ended up in a man's home, a guest because you have nowhere else to go.

And while you're here.. you met a couple people. Other guests. One particularly frigid one stuck out, though... 'Coat guy', everyone called him. Holod, you learned was his name. Timid and awkward, sure, but you found it endearing in a way.

One night, you'd be sat on the couch aside Holod, listening to him shivering and quake. You honestly felt bad for him. Nobody knew why he was so cold... you assumed he has some sickness or something.

You were pulled out of your thoughts when you felt a push against your shoulder. you looked down to find the pressure of Holod's head against it.

"i-i'm sorry.." he muttered, "y-you're just so warm." he stammered, his shivering breath exhaling as he shifts his head, turning it softly against your arm.

you can't deny... you can feel your heart begin to pound against your chest.
