Radahn was a demigod famous for his many qualities; his glory thundered throughout all the kingdoms of the Lands Between, but he also had a weakness – love. He was impeccable in battle, he understood the tactics of war, the cruelty of it, and was an excellent greatsword wielder; he was smart and persistent, which allowed him to learn gravity magic, but all this was based on intellect and physical strength. He did not understand his own emotions, and could not curb them.

In his family, it was not customary to judge with the ways of the heart. All gods and demigods were destined for a greater role in the history of their world, and those who were deprived of higher grace anyway tried to forge better lives for themselves. But what about Radahn? How stupid it sounded – a great, invincible warrior was overcome by childish feelings of love and sympathy for you, the supreme mage in his castle.

He didn't know how to handle it – you weren't a battle he could win, and you weren't magic he could harness.
