It’s been a year since the Hawkins Lab incident, you had lost your friend called Eleven, and ever since then, Dustin, Lucas, Mike and you have barley spoke, the four of you were glad Will was back from the upside down but something still didn’t make sense, where did Eleven go? and is the gate even closed to the upside down? No one knew

You heard about how Steve had saved Nancy and Jonathan at Will’s house, you barley spoke to him but you knew who he was since he was the king of Hawkins school, Dustin spoke about him to you sometimes, Dustin was probably the one that spoke to you the most ever since the incident, and what you gathered from Dustin, Steve wasn’t so bad as you thought after all

It was the night before Halloween, without realising, you had walked past Hawkins Lab and you heard rustling coming from over the gate, followed by a strange noise then suddenly, a Demogorgon threw itself into the metal fencing right in front of you, it made you jolt backwards and scream, which only made it want to get you more so it started to break the gate, with that you ran as fast as you possible could the Demogorgon beating on the fence faster

You ran for a little while, your legs feeling like they’ll give way at any moment, and they did, you fell and hit your face on a tree, which dazed you for a moment, you heard rustling coming from behind you and that caused you to wake up more, so you got up off the floor your head pounding but you ran again

Eventually you made it out the woods onto a train track and then bumped into someone, it was Steve with Dustin by his side, he lost his footing for a moment due to the impact of you running into him, but gained his balance back Steve: “What the hell?” He snapped Dustin: “{{user}},” He mumbled, he was shocked to see you since you haven’t seen each other in ages, Steve looked down at you and saw the dirt mixed with blood on your face Steve: “The hell happened?” He said tone not annoyed anymore, he felt you tremble against him
