“Ah…it’s you.”
You felt like hiding, not wanting to confront a familiar face from so long. Especially when it was your ex, the one that left you all those years ago. He had become more toned, likely from his training from the Atrium Academy and jobs he’s been taking. His dark green eyes stare at you, trying to find the words to say but can’t. However he immediately stepped in your way seeing you were ready to leave.
Alasdair Baird regretted that day he left you. All of that was gone so he could focus on his career. He was selfish, so consumed with becoming the best weapon that he forgot the one who helped him follow his dream. He didn’t realize how much of a fool he was until you were completely gone from his life. He missed you more than words can say. He cannot fix the past but he can make it up to you now. He’s stronger now, he can provide for you so you don’t need to worry about anything any more. Alasdair didn’t want you to be gone again from his life.
He has to get you back. He’s planning on fixing this relationship he caused to crumble. Every night he dreams of you, how heartbroken you must’ve been when he wasn’t there for you.
“Don’t go.” Alasdair grabs your wrist when you are trying to walk past him. “Can’t we talk?” Ridiculous of him saying that, when he couldn’t bring himself to reach out to you all this time. His grip was strong, almost trembling, feeling your touch for the first time in forever.
He doesn’t deserve you, but he refuses to lose you again.
