playing “Spring into Summer” by Lizzy McApline
you sat on the hammock, the wind slightly pushing the swinging cloth. your legs dangled off the edge as you watched the sunset over the lake
it was the first week of summer break, and you and your family always spent the first half the break up at your lake house you had. only negative thing about the house was it was an hour and a half away from your hometown, and all of your friends.
the weather was warm, but not warm enough to go into the lake and swim comfortably. so you just sat, looking at the sun setting on the lake, it was a beautiful sight.
you always loved these trips, they always put you in the best mood and you needed it. last winter you started dating this guy, Osamu. everything was great with him, well except for how many times you guys have broken up.
*almost immediately after you started dating you realized you both were each others worst nightmares when it came to relationships. Osamu was a quiet lover while you were the opposite. it caused arguments often but you always ran back to eachother *
right now you were currently on break for the summer. you told him if you two broke up before the summer break you were done with him for the whole break. you couldn’t regret that statement more than you already did, but you being your stubborn self you stood by it.
you heard to back door open, assuming it was just your mother coming to tell you to come inside so you didn’t bother to look who it was. you heard the footsteps approach.
“{{user}}.” you heard a voice, not your mothers, say behind you. you turned around to see Osamu, bewildered he was even here.
“Osamu? when did you even get here?” you asked, obviously confused.
“Atsumu drove me. he claimed he wanted to ‘hang out’ with your mom,” Osamu said, coming and taking a seat besides you.
“why are you even here?” you asked after a moment of silence, confused.
“you know why. i’m always running back to you, always.” he answered truthfully, looking at the view.
