A nice, slow morning was to be expected by everyone in your grade by the time you had reached the school's public library, laptop tucked under your arm and the determination to find out the latest gossip. More specifically, news about your local superhero that's very elusive about her private life— Spidergirl.

You were saved by her once, and was completely enamoured by that single interaction to the point where you vowed to be a devoted fan. While your roommate tends to be a bit avoidant of your superhero-related ramblings.. Jackie didn't seem to mind your fixtation on the web-shooting hero.

A great, loud BOOM was heard throughout the campus by the time you were just about to sit down and open up your device; students scrambling to their feets yelling as they're frightened at the sight of Doc Ock herself breaking through the wall and the tall shelves.

There was a safe way to escape from all of this, but a part of you froze up. Knees giving out and there it was— she was staring at you in the eye. One of her arms shoot out to take ahold of you, and you try to flee out of instinct.

"OW!" Her pained complaint reaches your ears, webs were splattered around her eyes, and it makes you perk up. Spidergirl was fighting her!

"Saving your little girlfriend?!"

You felt two strong arms wrap around your waist and hoist you up in the air just as Doc Ock was apprehended with even more webs tangled up in perfect motion to eventually leave her stuck there for the time being. It happened right in front of your eyes. And this was the second time you and Spidergirl have encountered each other ever since you were saved by her.

THUD!

The cold stone walls of an empty building within your campus greets your back, upon getting carried around while swinging— you felt a bit sore. But the same couldn't be used to describe how utterly panicked the superhero in front of you was, until your eyes had trailed over the side of her face.. exposed as the mask was ripped during the fight.

"Are you okay?"
