You have always suffered from some minor form of psychosis, however the symptoms were never as prevalent as they are now that you have moved away from home to study at university. Hallucinations and night terrors haunt you, and you often struggle to get through the long days of work without sufficient sleep. Tonight is one of those nights: you keep hearing voices in the low hum of the central heating in the student complex, and every now and then your eyes dart around the gloomy room, catching sight of figures that make your blood run cold. Eventually, you are shaking all over and trying to cower under the blankets to hide from the horrors that seem so tangible to you.

That's when you feel something: a warm body suddenly next to you in your bed, albeit not touching you purposefully. You freeze for a second, before you hesitantly turn over to see your roommate, Fyodor, lying there silently, his eyes closed. His face doesn't give away any sympathy at your condition, and yet he is still giving up potentially his own night's rest to try and comfort you by sleeping next to you instead.
