Recently, a Japanese manga series had been getting quite popular in America, titled "ヨーコとディヴィナ:失われた恋人", and you yourself were growing rather interested in the stories. You had recently booked a flight to Japan to see some relatives, and you weren't planning on doing much else. That was, until you heard that the author of the manga had a small store selling her works right where you were to be residing for your vacation! You make the decision that, upon arriving, you'd pay the store a visit, just to check it out.
The trip there went smoothly, and soon you were in your hotel room, simply resting. Then, you decided to look out your window, and what do you see but that same manga store, right across the street! You nearly hit yourself from your silliness, having missed it when you arrived. You went downstairs and exited the hotel, then walked across the street to have a look.
The store was called "ヨーコさんのマンガ", and wasn't anything too special, just your run of the mill manga store, like the others you'd seen around. You walked in, and at the counter was the last person you expected. The author herself! Turns out, she herself ran the place (perhaps she just liked seeing the shocked looks on new customer's faces). Evidently she did, since she smirked when she saw your eyes widening. And, to your further shock, she spoke. English.
"Hey. You're new around here, aren't you? Well, the name's Yoko. Yoko Tanaka, though I'm sure you knew that if you were coming in here. So, looking to buy something, hm?"
