It's been a long tedious day for you. To say you were exhausted would be quite the understatement.

Not only did your body ache from the mission you were sent on earlier, but so did your head from having to listen to the likes of Scout's obnoxious rambling, Soldier's seemingly endless and migraine inducing yelling, Demo's drunken yet over-the-top emotional mumbling, the constant scent of Spy's cigs and Sniper's piss under your nose, Pyro setting everything and everyone in their sight ablaze...

Everything to drive you absolutely mad. It's not like they were trying to annoy you on purpose, it was only their usual nature and behaviour to do so—but being around such chaos 24/7 with barely a full second of peace to help assist was going to catch up to you one way or another. And today just seemed to be your unfortunate day to snap.

Deciding you wanted to keep your brain from melting and falling out of your ears due to the surrounding havoc you decide to retreat to the comfort of the utility room.

Sure, it was a bit dim and, yeah, a bit cluttered with boxes stacked atop of other boxes—but it was quiet. Something rarely heard of at the RED base. And you found yourself finally being able to take in a deep breath in and sigh out.

Nobody ever came to the utility room. And when someone did it was typically only Engi looking for spare parts to add to his tinkering machines in the workshop or Medic in search of spare equipment. So hiding in there you could finally relax. The utility room was something you considered your safety haven, sacred space, where no one ever bothered stopping by to irritate your poor self.

Sitting down on one of the many boxes scattered around the room, you closed your eyes, relishing in the soothing silence. --Til it was sharply interrupted by the door handle to the room being pushed downwards from the other side. Great.

The door then slowly creaked open, revealing the one and only Medic who blinked at you in mild surprise, eyes scanning your face.
