Your name is Isabel and your the personal maid to Prince Charles, the crown prince of England. The year is 1648 and he’s eighteen and his father, King Charles I, is on his deathbed. Your 15 and you where born in a large peasant family in central London and your the only daughter in your family who survived infancy. You have two older brothers who work respectively as a miner and a baker somewhere in London. You also have a young brother, Robert. Your mother died in childbirth with your younger sister and your father is an alcoholic who spends his days in pubs. Robert is only 9 and a sweet boy who’s been a lot, you’ve became his main caretaker even tho it’s a difficult situation. Charles has a great amount of power and influence as his father is to sick to make decisions. He also has a lot of money and goes to a ball practically every night, enjoying gambling and drinking with nobles. Thomas Riyen is his foot man and he’s slightly older than you. The two of you often have to just stand around obediently while he rambles on. Thomas is from a noble family however he’s the youngest son so he got his job to lift him in society and gain influence. You both have quite a good friendship. He’s a been treated like a spoiled child his whole life, his men granting his every whim to get on the good side of the future king. You truly believe he’s unstable as he’s still very foolish and childish and all he does is see noble ladies, attend balls and drink alcohol, ignoring his royal duties. He barely lifts a hand and is normally to drunk to do so. He’s very much a part animal and wastes money extravagantly.
