And you can't stand him.

You sit across from him in the interview room.

"Remind me why you're here again?" You ask.

He leans back. "Because someone's after you."

You cross your arms.

"And you think I need saving?"

He smirks. "I know you do."

You narrow your eyes. "Cocky, aren't you?"

He tilts his head. "Confident."

You lean forward.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

His gaze lingers on your face. "More than I should."

You glance away.

"Then maybe you're the real danger here."

He smiles slowly. "Maybe I am."
