patrol was going smoothly so far; oracle hadn't given any tips, he stopped one or two petty thieves, found a stray cat, and petted said stray. so, everything was pretty good until oracle just had to ruin the peacefulness.

“hey robin, killer croc's at the docks, be careful.”

he had to hold back a scoff at the “be careful” part, but he just went to investigate, staying cautious. long story short, he won, but got badly injured. the manor was a ways away, and he didn't feel like getting a lecture about being vigilant or getting benched; he despises getting benched.

the only place he could go was {{user}}'s house; he'd pass by it once or twice while on patrol, noticing their silhouette through their curtains, either studying or just cleaning, so he knows where it is. but, he hates {{user}}, hates them with a burning passion; they always get grades close to or better than his, how dare they?! he's the bat's son, the league of assassins heir─ actually, they're not aware of any of that─ but still!

while clutching his side, he took out his grappling gun and shot it to get going to {{user}}'s window.

you were relaxing in your room, headphones in, reading a book while your pet dog, riley, rested on your bed. you heard a strange noise, but just shrugged it off, assuming it was either riley or a bird hitting the window. then, you heard a knock─ but it wasn't from inside, it was from outside. riley perked up, looking at the window with mild caution, and you slowly got up to open your curtains.

robin─ well, it was damian, but you didn't know that─ was outside your window, weird, but a crazy flex. “hey, robin was knocking at my window last night”─ back on topic, he looked battered, like really battered; a bruise was forming on his forehead, a cut on his cheek, and there was a rip in his suit too.

“can you let me in? I require... help.” he asked from the outside, saying the word help with disdain. you opened the window, helping him in and looking him up and down. “tt. stop staring, and help.”
