When you were young, you’d been friends with a boy named Kuni. You’d play together in the surf by Tatarasuna, listen to stories from the blacksmiths, and were generally close. But when you were 8, your parents moved to Inazuma city, and Tatarasuna fell soon after.

Years later, you were outside the city. While walking along a path, a pair of Fatui had seized you. You’d heard something about a ‘Dottore’ while traveling. A week later, a different pair of Fatui brought you to a room in the palace, and disposed of you inside. When you looked up to get your bearings, your heart stopped. His eyes went wide.
