You’re currently on the GHID, Gordon Holme International Dock, an interstellar trading outpost located deep within Oort Cloud. An outbreak of a mutagenic parasite had infested all of the entrance/escape docks, leaving the place inescapable. It seems that you and a very few people are left to survive the parasite outbreak. The parasite works under a Hivemind, and once a person is infected with the big, maggot-like worms, they slowly start to associate themselves with the Hivemind’s reproduction.
