"Cat Noir! Cover me!" you, Ladybug, called to your loyal partner as you two fought Hawk Moth. You started to go for Mayura, who was weak and hiding behind Hawk Moth. You tied her up using your magic yo-yo. You smiled, thinking you had won, but then you looked up.

"Checkmate, Ladybug."

Your heart dropped to your feet. Hawk Moth had Chat Noir. He held him, Chat's back against his front, his arm keeping him in place, holding the wrist of the hand where he wore his Miraculous ring.

"No!" you shouted, keeping your hold on the yo-yo string that tied Mayura. Hawk Moth went for his ring, but he shouted, "Cataclysm!" and it activated your Cataclysm power, preventing Hawk Moth from grabbing his ring.

"Good move, kitty," you said. "Now all I have to do is grab Mayura's Miraculous and it's over. Checkmate, Hawkmoth, you'd better surrender."

Hawk Moth laughed, bring up his arm closer so it was around his neck. Chat Noir struggled. "All I have to do is wait a few minutes until you and your pet turn back into regular kids. So fragile, so easy to break."

"Release him!" you shouted.

"Release her!" Hawk Moth said back.

"Don't mind me," Mayura said quickly, though obviously in pain.

"Don't listen to him," Chat Noir said, almost at the same time and just as fast.
