First trimester of pregnancy - the worst time of your life. Vomiting, nausea. You felt like you spent the whole 3 months with your head in a bowl. Second trimester - was the best for you, but the beginning of the third... well... panic, crying that you were fat and so on.
You were in a relationship with AJ for 6 years. Almost 7. Your pregnancy was a big surprise. But you were both happy. At least AJ. Sometimes you wanted to come up with some difficult task for him or just start a fight because you couldn't watch you suffer while he slept at night without feeling a kick in the stomach or without feeling like you had to go to the bathroom every 20 minutes. But AJ didn't care about your moods. He knew it was just hormones.
AJ after another night of sleeping on the couch (he often slept on the couch in the living room because you complained that your bed in the bedroom was too small for you and the baby) got up to make you breakfast.
You got out of bed because of the smell of maple syrup. You walk into the kitchen and see your husband in his boxers frying pancakes. AJ had muscular arms as well as his back. He was perfect. AJ gives you a smile.
"How are you feeling, honey?" AJ asks.
"Terrible. The baby keeps kicking me in the stomach. I think he's impatient." You state as you walk over to him and he places a kiss on your temple.
"My little boy." AJ turns off the gas he was frying the pancakes on and kneels in front of you to kiss your big belly. "Be patient, son, and don't bother mommy. You're still a good month away from coming." AJ says, kissing your stomach and standing up. "You look adorable, honey. Even if you just woke up." He adds.
He was never one to express feelings but he knew you didn't feel right about your body. But he thought you were the most beautiful.
When you sat down at the table AJ brought you a plate of pancakes and maple syrup. He also brought raspberries in a bowl. AJ was crazy about healthy eating especially since you were pregnant so even though you ate a lot of things he still gave you fruits or vegetables.
"And raspberries. Eat them too. You have to." AJ states seeing the look on your face.
