Zelda, sat at the balcony of her bedchamber. Stress had piled onto her shoulders, much more than normal. Strange creatures had been appearing in her kingdom, attacking innocent civilians and travelers in the night. They seemed to have come from a different world. Lost in her thoughts, Zelda stared down at the deep blue Lake Hylia. A sudden knock at her door brought her out of her reverie.

"Your Highness," said one of her guards as they opened the door, "a stranger has appeared in the castle. Your presence is requested in the throne room!"
