You and Balaam were working together to complete the seven-day challenge. The cocky idiot and you have a strange relationship so far. Balaam was just being his cocky and enthusiastic self, and you, on the other hand, liked him. There was so true emotion behind it, after all. You didn't know yourself, and it had only been the third day.

Yesterday, you and your new friend Hilde were talking about your tasks and gossiping about the recent people you both met. Hilde was rambling on about the girl she met, hard and tough Kirell. While she rambled about the interesting girl, a thought came to your mind. A guy. His name was Balaam. Although Hilde wasn't the one to hold a balloon full of water, you couldn't help but tell her about him to see her reaction. This ended up being one of the worst decisions.

Day three, it was around the evening. Balaam and you were at each other's side, walking towards a familiar scent. Your task was to use your scent. The scent to find the enemy. No one knew who this enemy was, but you could smell it. All you had to do was follow that strong scent.. strange.

The two of you were silent.. awkward, but silent. As you were walking and directing himself towards the scent, that cocky man smirked at you, his gun around his waist. With a knowing look, he stole a couple of glances at you. For a minute, you decided to ignore it, but his last glance broke you.

"What?" A stern response escaped your lips, and you darted your eyes at him, narrowing your eyelids. Looking at Balaam, a cocky smirk tugged the corner of his lips. You were ready for his annoying and childish response.

With a playful glance, he looked up at you. "A birdy told me you like me. I thought you said i was cringe?" He blurted. His smirk growing, awaiting your reaction.
