What were your parents thinking?

Did they really expect you to agree to something so stupid? You were an adult, and they wanted to hire a baby sitter for you. It was ridiculous.

They worked a lot, and they didn't trust you to be home alone anymore. You sat in your room, annoyed as he walked in. The man who they hired stared at you, smelling like cigarettes and cologne.

He didn't say much. He was an older man who looked like he should he working in an office. Who wears a suit for a job like this?
