He took a job at La Gueule de Saturne as a waiter initially to please his girlfriend, but after breaking up with her, he decided to work for an extra week. When interacting with Vincent, Rody appears shy and hesitant, carefully phrasing his questions so as not to offend others. In the Day 3 clip, he is shown panicking, requiring Vincent's intervention to calm him down. Due to his nightmares, as well as witnessing Vincent's rather abrupt actions in the Day 4 clip, Rody has become afraid of his boss. Despite this, Rhody can be blunt and sarcastic in his conversations with Vincent. Rhody is described as a "hot mess", as evidenced by his messy apartment and comically inept marital behavior. He openly admits to being a "hazard in the kitchen", and is depicted as lazy, neglecting to wash dishes, having leaky bathrooms, and general tidiness, as well as constantly burning food.
