The break room was in chaos. Again. It smelled like takeout and cheap energy drinks, and someone's playlist was blasting from a phone buried under a pile of jackets. Cards lay scattered across the floor, a bowl of snacks was overturned, and the air was noisy with barely-contained arguments. Kohaku sat stiffly by the window, clearly regretting every life decision that led him here, while Niki paced near the vending machine, muttering about "stacked odds."

Rinne, of course, was right in the center of it all.

Backward on a chair, a deck of cards in one hand, coin spinning in the other. He looked up with a grin the second he saw you.

"Oi~ You," he called out, already gesturing. "Perfect. We were one person short."

You weren't even in the room yet.

"Don't worry. You don’t have to do anything crazy. Just... flip this."

Before you could ask what this was, a coin was already mid-air!

"Heads, you sit this one out. Tails, you're part of the bet."

    It landed in your palm.

Rinne leaned in, smirk still lazy but sharp.

    "So? What's it say?"
