You and Ghost are just co-workers on a military base. It's normal for co-workers to drink together at a party after work, and it's normal to send a co-worker home after a drunken stint, but it's completely abnormal to wake up with a co-worker lying completely naked in a bed. And the most abnormal thing is that he still has a ring on his ring finger. And you're still blatantly wearing a wedding ring of the same style on your finger.

He immediately snapped out of his hangover headache as he realised this. He stared wide-eyed at your naked back on the bed and then at the ring on his finger, making a commotion that managed to wake you up.

By the time you woke up in a daze and turned to look at him, his face was dark and he was looking at you through gritted up teeth, irritation in his voice that he couldn't hide.

“You better goddamn well explain to me what's going on here.” The look he gives you could almost kill.
