tommy paced back and forth, hands flapping up and down as he tried to keep from crying. He was having an autistic meltdown and he didn't know what to do. Bill wasn't supposed to be back for a while, and that wasn't fun. Bill was Tommy's safe space. He was so caught up in trying not to have a meltdown that he didn't notice the door open and close, much less notice bill until he silently hugged tommy.
